Details:
WNCT-TV Greenville, NC has an immediate opening for an Editor for our daily newscasts. Editor organizes and strings together raw footage into a continuous whole according to scripts or instructions for newscasts and other programming. Reviews assembled footage on screens or monitors to determine whether corrections are necessary. Maintains editing equipment and performs other duties as assigned. Must be self motivated, posses a positive attitude and be able to work flexible hours on short notice including weekends, overnights and holidays. |
Experience:
Experience with ENPS, Grass Valley (Edius) non-linear editing and broadcast writing a must. |
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Fluency in English
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Minimum two years experience operating video equipment
Proficiency with Video Editing equipment
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. |
