Non-Commercial Sustaining Announcement Program

NCAB has partnered with several non-profit organizations to create a "win-win" situation for everyone. The Association promotes and supports each of these organizations by encouraging radio and television stations to air the NCSAs. (It's important to note that the NCSA organizations DO NOT purchase broadcast advertising in the state.) In return, each organization provides a supplemental financial grant to NCAB. The organizations "win" by getting their message out to listeners and viewers on a statewide basis and on a level they could not achieve on their own. NCAB and its member stations "win" by utilizing the supplemental grant to support and expand member programs and services.

Programs supported by NCSAs include educational and training workshops (like EEO Compliance, License Renewal, Political Broadcasting and Sales), the NCAB/FCC station inspection program, the Annual Convention, state and national broadcast job banks and resume service, the Association web site, newsletter, industry publications and more. So, if you do not currently air NCSAs, we hope you will consider airing them as much as your inventory will allow.
