WCNC-Charlotte, a TEGNA Company, is looking for a dynamic Associate Producer for its lifestyle and entertainment show, Charlotte Today. The ideal candidate will be a social media star!  Creative writing for our on-line platforms for Charlotte Today and WCNC Charlotte is essential.  We want you to engage our online audience with interactive content that also enhances station viewership. 

• Create relevant and engaging social media content throughout the day.
• Assist clients and guests with setting up their segments for broadcast.
• Operate hand held camera during live show; edit show material; post segments to our website daily.
• Coordinate and schedule daily chef segments.
• Maintain cleanliness of set; including daily dish washing and keeping items stocked for show.

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience that demonstrates the necessary skills and abilities required for this job.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong ability to work under tight deadlines with pressure to incorporate fresh elements into a daily show
• Interact positively and productively with fellow employees.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to move props and strong tables on and off set.
