Content producer with strong web and social media focus. Should live and breathe online news and be an expert on a variety of digital and social media platforms. Will gather news from social media sources and identify trending topics, but also create content that will itself become trending. Produces stories using text, photos, and video. Needs to be an excellent storyteller and writer, with strong knowledge of AP style and a zero-tolerance policy for typos. Non-linear video editing skills and experience a must. Be able to work in a team and liaison with newsroom staff to ensure complete social media and web dominance. Bachelor’s degree required, plus two to three years of web production management experience. Solid understanding of web/mobile standards, design, and usability, along with an eye for detail. Knowledge of HTML and Photoshop.
